SALON POLICIES

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS
When booking your appointments, using our booking system or with a member of staff, you may be asked to fill in a medical questionnaire form on arrival. This is to establish that there is no known reason that the treatment would not be suitable for you. Depending on the treatment, you may also be required to visit the salon a minimum of 24 hours beforehand for a patch test. Please read or listen to all of the information given at the time of booking, as this will make your visit as seamless as possible.
Appointments can be booked online or via the phone.
VISITING THE SALON
Please attend your appointments alone where possible.
No mobile phone use during appointments. Our aim is to create a peaceful space for all clients to enjoy their 'me time'.
Masks are not now essential, however If you have a mask and you would like to wear it, please feel free to bring it with you.
Please don’t be surprised or upset if our staff are using personal protective equipment (PPE) during your visit and during your treatment. This may include disposable gloves / facemasks / visors/ aprons where appropriate. This is to keep us and our clients safe.
We can confirm that the laundering of salon towels and uniforms is a priority, we can assure you that all salon laundry is washed at 60 degrees C.
All disposable items are bagged and safely removed from the treatment area everyday.
LATE ARRIVALS
In order to respect the time of both our clients and our staff, we ask that you arrive on time for your appointments. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late will be charged 100% of their appointment fee and their appointments will need to be rearranged if needed. Please be aware that arriving late will reduce your treatment time.
LATE CANCELLATIONS
We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel your appointment, we simply ask that you notify us of any cancellations or rescheduling with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations that break these rules will result in a 50% charge.
Repeated late appointment cancellation will require pre-payment for all future appointments. Pre paid appointments are non refundable.
NO SHOWS
In the case of missing your appointment, you will be imposed with a fee worth 100% of the missed service. Three or more missed appointments may equal being unable to book back in.
MEDICAL INFORMATION
For your comfort and safety, please notify our specialists if you have allergies, any physical issues or disabilities or if you are pregnant. If you experience discomfort or any other symptoms during the treatment please alert your therapist immediately.
OUR TREATMENTS
We have carried out a risk assessment on all treatments and we are confident that we can continue to provide these safely, alongside government guidelines. This will be closely monitored and changed accordingly.
DURING YOUR TREATMENT
Our staff understand the importance of hand hygiene and we will ensure that we wash our hands in according with NHS recommendations before the start of your treatment.
We will try to make your treatment as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If you have any concerns about your treatments please let us know and we will do what we can to satisfy you.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
All treatments may be paid for using cash, card, bank transfer (at point of checkout) or gift vouchers.

HOW CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
Please call 01706 551080 and we will be happy to discuss your needs, advise you which treatment would be best for you and book your appointment at a time to suit you. Calls and voice messages will be answered during our opening hours, between treatments.

After making your online booking you will receive an email from the salon to confirming your booking, our policies regarding cancelling/re-scheduling appointments, no shows and patch testing. If you have any questions please contact the salon immediately on

By booking an appointment you agree to our policies, these are also clearly outlined on our booking platforms.
PATCH TESTS
You will be informed at the time of booking if your service requires a patch test. This is also clearly outlined on our website and online booking. A patch test must be performed at least 24 hours before treatment (even if you have had this treatment in another salon)
If you are unable to come into the salon for this please call us immediately, failure to have the patch test may result in your appointment being cancelled and a cancellation charge will apply.
NEW CLIENTS
Please allow enough time for your journey to the salon, we are happy to give you directions.
We would suggest that you arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment time. This will give you a chance to fill in any relevant paper work and relax in our comfortable waiting area before your treatment.
PRIVACY POLICY
We will treat all your personal information as confidential. We will keep it in a secure file and we will fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and Consumer Legislation.
YOUR FILE
During consultation you agree to keep your personal record held by the salon updated with your full contact details – which will enable us to contact you in the event of any change relating to your appointments. Where possible, please provide both landline and mobile telephone numbers.
CHILDREN IN THE SALON
For insurance reasons, and out of consideration for other clients we ask that you do not bring children into the salon, it is a dangerous environment and we cannot accept the role as guardian to children whilst you enjoy your treatment.
Please take into account any school holidays when booking your appointment and call us should you need to re-schedule.
PARKING
The salon does not have its own parking and so share the surrounding streets with other businesses and homes, there is on-street parking along Dale Street, at the
Co-Op and behind the salon.
