What is Lycon waxing?

Formulated with the finest natural resins, bees wax and sensuous aromatherapy, Lycon delivers superior results, removing stubborn hair as short as 1mm like no other wax!
Does it hurt?
The pre-waxing oil we apply before the wax creates a barrier between the skin and the wax. This means the wax is not being pulled with the skin, which is what hurts, it is only gripping to the hair.
You will experience 50% pain reduction!

Lycon hot wax- This is a low temperature formula that shrink-wraps around the hair and can remove hair as short as 1mm, perfect for short suborn hair growth on any part of the face or body. This wax comes in many gorgeous scents including 'So Berry' and 'So Yummy Chocolate' mmm!
Strip wax- This wax is suitable for larger areas such as arms, legs, back and chest. This wax contains conditioning a soothing benefits without leaving a sticky residue on the skin.

We can remove hairs as short as 1mm which means you don’t need months of growth before your treatment.
For intimate waxing such as the Brazilian and Hollywood we use Lycon hot wax which ensures hairs are removed from the root, giving you results that last up to 4 weeks. We apply a pre-wax oil before, creating a barrier between the your skin and wax. The wax will shrink-wrap around your hair meaning removal is efficient and comfortable.
Although named ‘Hot wax’ this wax is actually melted at a lower temperature which means there is less risk of burning or heat sensitivity meaning little to no irritation or redness.
Here at Bare Beauty we are big on hygiene standards! We ensure we have clean, sanitised treatment rooms and products. We use hygenic pre- and post-wax products, a new pair of nitrile gloves for each client and disposable bed covers which prevents cross contamination. No double dipping here! We ensure a fresh spatula is dipped into the wax each time so no bacteria is transferred between clients.
